In the Army Now

He may not crawl, but he can get anywhere and anything he wants. Sorry you have to turn your head to watch, but enjoy!

Look Out Summer ~ Here We Come!

Booker is our little outside helper. He mowed our lawn (with his mower) and he picked our dandelions. I can't wait for him to be old enough to get behind the big mower. Even though we all love being outdoors, it is also the cause of many tantrums. If Booker doesn't get to go outside on his terms... tantrum. When it's time to go inside... tantrum. That's ok though, I kind of understand!

Ahh, the sunshine! Bodey hasn't been outside too much in his little life, but now that it has started to warm up, I'm sure we'll all live in the sun's rays! Here is Bodey exploring the grass and soaking up some sun.

Neighborhood Fun

Can I just say, I love my neighbors! Our neighborhood is made up of young families with lots of kids. All the kids love to play with each other, and when nice weather comes around, we are outside A LOT! Last night Rachel and Aron had a BBQ... the adults got to chat and the kids just played - played - played. Here are a few snapshots of the night:

Meet Earl

Meet the newest Feezell family member... Earl. He sits with us right in our livingroom, all the time. Now don't get me wrong, I don't mind animal parts hanging on my walls. However, Earl turned out to be a little bigger than we thought. Frankly, he is just too big for our home. But my better half couldn't think he looks any better. Now, instead of just staring blindly at the TV all night, I catch Dusty admiring Earl as he takes up our entire livingroom wall. I guess Earl has some good features. Instead of a Christmas tree, we'll just decorate Earl and put presents underneath him. We don't need a watchdog (no offense Harley), but Earl will scare anyone that decides to break and enter our house. And, because of his size, we just won't have too much more room to hang anything else (dead animals) on our wall. I had a wonderful idea that didn't sit well with Dusty. But I thought that maybe Earl could live on Cabela's walls until we get a bigger house. But, I was shot down. So boys, I'm sorry, but I will have to move your pictures because Earl is staying.

No Rush

I understand it's completely normal for people to ask what "new" things your baby is doing. I do the same thing. When I had Booker I was always wanting him to do the next thing. But, I'm not ready for Bodey to do anything new. That just means he's growing up. I absolutely love the stage Bodey is in right now. He's not crawling, so all he can do is roll and turn to get what he wants. He can't talk, and I just love to hear the sounds he makes in his attempts. He hasn't developed an attitude and just loves anyone that comes into his sight. Everyday is a good day for him, and he makes our days worth every minute.

I Am Not Ready For This

Booker's Birthday Party

We celebrated Booker's 2nd birthday party last weekend. We had a great turnout and needless to say, Booker got S-P-O-I-L-E-D! We started out with some Thomas the Train cake, opened presents and then grilled burgers and dogs. Thank you to everyone who was able to share this day with us.
